This priming offers balanced absorbency and tooth, while preventing oil paints from sinking or soaking through. The stretcher bars themselves are kiln dried and have beveled edges. Each canvas is stretched by hand, and there is ample canvas on the back if you should decide to restretch the finished painting. Ideal for use with oil, acrylic, and alkyd paints.
